Tasting Weekend at Caseus
LoST Eu’s last tasting weekend was held on 5 and 6 October 2024. LoST Eu was among the protagonists in Veneto, the host region of the Caseus Italy event, in Piazzola sul Brenta on 5 and 6 October. In the unique location of Villa Contarini, one of the most beautiful Baroque villas in Italy, LoST Eu organised a promotional stand and a full calendar of free tastings, led by experts and dedicated to fans of the event. The two-day event was attended by over 80,000 spectators, who listened to the stories of the eight LoST Eu PDOs, collected promotional material and attended the tastings, all held inside the splendid Villa.
Over 300 tastings were organised, with huge success and enthusiastic comments from all those present. This was a fantastic showcase for the LoST Eu project, held in Veneto for the first time, bringing its philosophy and making its basket of products known to a new and different audience, which was undoubtedly very interested.
